To play with Darth Vader, you first have to unlock him. You do this by winning the 9 course galaxy map in "Race" mode with Anakin as your character.

- The game takes its name from an expression comically coined by Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars Episode I.
- In March, 2004, GMR Magazine, compiled a list of their 5 best and 5 worst Star Wars games. While Super Bombad Racing was not present in either list, a paragraph after the list on the same page as the bottom five, references the fact that some Star Wars games are bad and then says "ahem Super Bombad Racing".
