This appears to be a direct ripoff from section III of http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/12461a.htm
However, if the Catholic Encylopedia content is in the public domain, we should be able to do better than this, and copy the whole article?
The web page gives the original copyright as 1911 (which would place it public domain) but also says "copyright online edition 2003". Don't ask me the legalities of doing that, but presumably they think the work is copyright. DJ Clayworth 17:55, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)
