Sheridan stages a major battle against the forces of the Shadows.

- The alliance has dealt a defeat to the Shadows but it was very costly.
- Dr. Franklin has returned from "walkabout" after surviving a brush with death, after having 'met himself' as was the original point of the exercise.
- Anna Sheridan returns from the grave.
