I'm Dan. I'm 17 years old. I am a philosopher. I tend to seek knowledge through learning, with the aim of having the ability to practice things that could be considered arts or hobbies--such as taxonomy, cookery, archery, gardening, and excercise of a few varying forms. Experience has become a more important source of learning to me than esoteric rote. I'm probably obsessed with a specific topic at any given time, rather than just living calmly, as some do. To make a more catchy phrase out of it: "When I have an interest, I have an obsession. When I perceive something, I take time to commit it to memory."
I have quite a hobby of composing words in the style of proverbs. What do you think of this hobby of mine? What is it to you: like poor punning, or like tasteful poetry? Heh, well some of them are better than others.
I can see myself as an English teacher in the future.

It appears that King C. Gillette--like myself--was born in Wisconsin, but then raised in Chicago. Interesting, perhaps!
