- Samos Island is a Greek island of the Aegean. The adjective "Samian" is used to describe the island's products, people, and history, in particular:
- Samian wine
- The Samian Sibyl
- The "Samian sage" Pythagoras
- Samian ware (not in fact from Samos, but once thought to have been)
- Samos Prefecture, the prefecture that includes the island of Samos.
- Vathy, Samos, the capital of Samos Prefecture, is sometimes called Samos
