My Immense Collection of Disney Videos (1981-1994).

-Walt Disney Home Video-

• Pete's Dragon (10/21/80, 4/2/85, and 5/23/91) (my copies printed 5/28/83 and 9/19/86) (my copy (1980) #04165)
  • The first cassette uses the blue "FBI" warning and a blue "Licensed", then the 1978 Neon Mickey. No MPAA rating. 1982 Disney promo at the end. Must've been added on the sale copies after 1982, so mine must be a remaster although it STILL IS the first Disney Video release EVER. For sale only. Not intended for rental. Label is half-way torn off. The second cassette features the red FBI warnings followed by the 1983 Neon Mickey. The third cassette features the red FBI warnings and Sorcerer Mickey's logo.

• The Black Hole (10/21/80) (my copy printed 9/10/83)
  • Uses the blue warnings, then the 1978 Neon Mickey. No MPAA rating. No "For Sale Only" bumper. For sale only. Not intended for rental.

• The Love Bug (10/21/80, 10/27/85, and 10/27/85) (my copies printed 8/22/85 and 8/22/85) (my copies #09091 and #09092)
  • The first videocassette uses the blue warnings, then the 1978 Neon Mickey. For sale only. Not intended for rental. The second videocassette uses the 1984 FBI warnings and the 1983 Neon Mickey... yet uses the 1980 cover art! 1982 Disney promo at the end. The third videocassette is a carbon copy of the second.

• Escape to Witch Mountain (10/21/80 and 6/25/86)
  • The first one uses the blue warnings, then the 1978 Neon Mickey. No MPAA rating. The second one uses a rounded clamshell and the red FBI warnings and 1983 Neon Mickey.

• Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier (10/21/80 and 6/24/85)
  • The first one uses the blue FBI warning and "Licensed" screen and 1978 Neon Mickey. The second one begins right in the middle of the opening credits... right where you least expect a videocassette to begin! Label is half-way torn off.

• The Happiest Millionaire (6/18/86)
  • Uses the red FBI warnings and the 1983 Neon Mickey. This is in a cardboard slipcase. This is the first videocassette with the Neon Mickey that I bought.

• The Absent Minded Professor (10/7/86) (my copy printed 7/28/86)
  • Uses the red FBI and "Licensed" screen as well as the 1983 Neon Mickey. In living color. Packaged in a cardboard slipcase. One of the last VHS cassettes to use the Neon Mickey.

• Disney Sing-Along Songs: Zip-A-De-Doo-Dah (12/23/86 and 4/12/91)
  • The first copy uses the dark red FBI warnings and video dealer announcement plus Sorcerer Mickey. The second copy uses the Red-Orange FBI screens, Sorcerer Mickey, and at the end an advertisement for Vols. 1-7 and 9.

• Flight of the Navigator (1/27/87) (my copy printed 1/17/87)
  • Uses the rare FBI screens and the "If you would like to own a videocassette of this program for your home library, ask your home video dealer about purchasing new or previously viewed tapes" bumper and the 1986 WDHV logo (the WDHV presents variant).

• Disney Sing-Along Songs: The Bare Necessites (10/13/87)
  • Uses the 1991 cover and the 1988 tape master with the 1984 FBI warnings, Sorcerer Mickey, and at the end an advertisement for Vols. 1, 2, and 4.

• Disney Sing-Along Songs: Fun With Music (9/28/89)
  • Uses the 1991 cover and the 1989 tape master with the 1984 FBI warnings, Sorcerer Mickey, and at the end an advertisement for Vols. 1-4.

• Disney Sing-Along Songs: Under the Sea (8/14/90)
  • Uses the red FBI screens, Disneyland 35th Anniversary, Sorcerer Mickey, and at the end an advertisement for Vols. 1-6.

• Disney Sing-Along Songs: I Love to Laugh (12/28/90)
  • Uses the red FBI screens, Sorcerer Mickey, and at the end an advertisement for Vols. 1-7 and 9.

• Disney Sing-Along Saongs: You Can Fly! (4/12/91)
  • Uses the red FBI screens, Sorcerer Mickey, and at the end an advertisement for Vols. 1-7 and 9. The font on the FBI screens is not the usual bubbly font but is instead a TYPEWRITER font.

• Disney Sing-Along Songs: Friend Like Me (3/3/93)
  • Uses the green FBI screens from 1991, a preview for Billy Bunny's Animal Songs, Sorcerer Mickey, and at the end two advertisements: one for Vols. 1-7, 9, and 10 and Winnie the Pooh Storybook Classics.

• Disney Canta Con Nosotros: Nuestro Huésped (6/22/94)
  • Uses the green FBI screens in Spanish and Sorcerer Mickey.

-Touchstone Home Video-

• Who Framed Roger Rabbit (9/28/89) (my copy #41732, or #A304 in hexidecimal)
  • Uses the red FBI screens and 1987 Touchstone Home Video logo.

-Walt Disney Classics-

• Robin Hood (12/6/84, 10/13/86, and 7/12/91) (my copy (1986) printed 3/26/86) (my copy (1991) #0058013)
  • The first Classics edition has the red FBI warnings and the cheesy diamond (not to mention the white slide-in cover clamshell). The second Classics edition is the first version with the Red FBI screens, the 1986 WDHV logo, the previews and FP bumper, and the cut-short Classics logo.

• Pinocchio (7/16/85 and 3/26/93) (my copy (1985) printed 6/12/85) (my copy #0003685)
  • The first Classics edition uses the red FBI warnings, a preview for "The Black Cauldron", and the cheesy diamond. The second Classics edition uses the trailer for Nightmare Before Christmas and Aladdin, and the 1992 electronically muffled Classics logo.

• Dumbo (12/1/85)
  • Uses the Red FBI screens and the cheesy logo. Clamshell is in good condition.

• The Sword in the Stone (3/24/86) (my copy printed 3/28/91)
  • The tape has the Red FBI screens and the cheesy classics logo. The logo is slightly snippeted at the beginning, and the 1991 cover is used.

• Alice in Wonderland (5/28/86) (my copy printed 5/29/86)
  • Cardboard slipcase. Good condition. Red FBI screens (fading, not slideshowing) are on the tape. The cheesy classics logo is held for a few seconds at the end.

• Sleeping Beauty (10/14/86) (my copy printed 7/31/86)
  • Clamshell in condition, tape as well, film fuzzes a bit. On the tape, dark red FBI screens and the video dealer announcement. And then the cheesy classics logo.

• Cinderella (10/4/88)
  • Label is peeling. Uses the red FBI screens, the green "This preview is suitable for all audiences..." and then the trailer for "Oliver & Company," and then the prototype original 1988 Classics logo.

• Bambi (9/28/89)
  • Label is peeling. Uses the Red FBI screens, the green "Preview" screen, and the trailer for "The Little Mermaid," and the regular 1989 classics logo.

• The Little Mermaid (5/18/90)
  • Uses the ink labels, the Red FBI screens, and the regular 1989 Classics logo.

• Peter Pan (9/21/90) (my copy printed 4/4/90)
  • The tape itself has the diamond on the right side of the tape, and it's big. On the tape, red FBI screens, coming attraction bumpers, "Little Mermaid" and "Rescuers Down Under" trailers and 1989 Classics logo. My copy has a white release button for the black hinged flap instead of a black release button.

• Fantasia (11/1/91)
  • Nothing much about it, just the FBI warnings and the Classics logo.

• Beauty and the Beast (10/30/92)
  • Trailers for Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, and Pinocchio, and 1992 Classics logo, electronically muffled. Previews for 101 Dalmatians at the end.

• Aladdin (10/1/93)
  • Trailers for The Lion King and Pinocchio, followed by 1992 FP screen and 1992 Classics logo, electronically muffled.

• Alicia en El Páis de Maravillas (6/22/94) (my copy printed 4/4/02)
  • Uses the green FBI warnings in Spanish and the 1986 WDHV logo.

• La Bella y la Bestia (6/22/94)
  • Just the green FBI warning and green "licensed", both in Spanish, followed by the 1986 WDHV logo. No Classics logo.

-Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection-

• Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (10/28/94)
  • Uses the green FBI warnings, the introduction by Roy E. Disney, and the 1986 WDHV logo.

• Dumbo (10/28/94)
  • Uses the green FBI warnings, the Masterpiece Collection logo, and a preview for The Brave Little Toaster

• Alice In Wonderland (10/28/94)
  • Uses the green FBI warnings, the Masterpiece Collection logo, and a preview for The Brave Little Toaster

• Robin Hood (10/28/94)
  • Uses the green FBI warnings, the Masterpiece Collection logo, and a preview for The Brave Little Toaster

• Los Tres Caballeros (4/14/95) (my copy printed 2/24/95)
  • Uses the Spanish warnings, the English Masterpiece logo, and 2 Spanish-language previews for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Blancanieves y los Siete Enanos) and Aladdin (Aladín).
