A maximum of 28 torpedoes can be carried, usually Type 65 weapons, and SS-N-16 Stallion antisubmarine missiles can be carried , one per torpedo space. In addition, 24 SS-N-19 Shipwreck / Granit SLCM are carried in separate launch tubes.
Powerplant: Two OK-650B pressurized water reactors totaling 340MW are carried, along with two OK-9 steam turbines producing a total of 98000 shp and driving two shafts.
Maximum speed is 20 knots surfaced and 28 knots submerged.
