Route 666 (film)

This is a action/horror movie, with Lou Diamond Phillips, Lori Petty, and Steve Williams. It is about some men that were working on a chain gang back in 1967 and they tried to escape, but failed, the sheriff then made them dig a hole in the road, where when finished the sheriff shot the men in the hole and then proceeded to lay ashphalt over them and then steamroll them into the road. Well back to present day where Lou and Lori are US marshalls looking for a witness (steve) that has escaped from the federal witness protection program and bring him back to California for testyfying. They are traveling along a road when it becames a dead end with a roadblock, well the only person who know where the road leads is steve, because of his becaming familiar with the area trying to evade the feds for some time. The road is closed because of the "accident" that happened back in "67", they proceed to break down the roadblock and travel this Route 666 regardless. Needless to say trouble ensues once they realize there are zombies (chain gang) trying to kill them.
