Proglucagon

Proglucagon is a precursor of glucagon, and several other components. It is generated in the alpha cells of the pancreas, and it consists of the following:
- Glicentin
- Glicentin-related pancreatic polypeptide (GRPP)
- Oxyntomodulin
- Glucagon
- intervening peptide 1
- major proglucagon fragment (MPGF)
