Primera Division

Primera División (Spanish for First Division) can refer to:
- Primera División Argentina, the Argentinian top football (soccer) division.
- Primera División de Costa Rica, the Costa Rican top football (soccer) division.
- Primera División de Fútbol Profesional, the Salvadoran top football (soccer) division.
- Primera División de México, the Mexican top football (soccer) division.
- Primera División Peruana, the Peruvian top football (soccer) division.
- Primera División Uruguaya, the Uruguayan top football (soccer) division.
- Primera División Venezolana, the Venezuelan top football (soccer) division.
- La Liga, also called Primera división, the Spanish top football (soccer) division.

In Spanish, primera división is used as a general name for the top level league at which countries' soccer teams compete (such as England's Premier League, Germany's 1. Bundesliga, and Japan's J1 Division in the J. League). The usage has its roots in the old Football League First Division in England, which was the first such league.
