Powerteam USA

Powerteam USA were a short lived group of four bodybuilders turned wrestlers in the California wrestling territories in late 1985.
The members of the group included Steve Borden, who would later gain success under the moniker of Sting, Jim Hellwig, who would later gain success as (The Ultimate) Warrior, David Sheldon, later known as The Angel of Death, and Mark Miller. They were trained by Red Bastien and Rick Bassman, who would also be their manager. Percieved as having no savvy for the business, they were disbanded as a team later the proceeding year. However, Borden and Hellwig, known as Flash and Justice respectively, were impressive enough to promoter Bill Watts to continue their careers in his UWF territory. Sheldon would eventually follow them as well. Miller ended up retiring from wrestling for good. Manager Bassman would eventually become a wrestler and a successful wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts promoter in California.
