[edit] Welcome!
I hope you like this place — I sure do — and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the five pillars of Wikipedia. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ , plus if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions)! There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my user talk page.
[edit] Additional tips
Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you.
- You can sign your name using three tildes (~). If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
- You may want to add yourself to the new user log.
- If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
- If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.
- If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.

[edit] AFD on Clarecraft
You wrote (on my talk page): I noticed you voted Delete in the Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Clarecraft for the very valid reason that it was simply a copy-paste from the company's website. I was not the original creator of the entry, but I've rewritten it, and I would appreciate if you'd take a look at the new article for Clarecraft and consider changing your vote. Thanks! Polotet 03:02, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
- Actually my vote had little or nothing to do with the copyright issues, but with the non-encyclopedic tone of the article, and the lack of demonstrated notability of the subject. The tone has been altered and much imporved, and there is more indicatation of notability, but this is still marginal, IMO. I note that the cited news storeis make a good deal of Clarecraft being one of the last manufacturing sites open in the UK. Perhaps this should be mentioned in the article, as it is a quite independant ground of notability, IMO. DES (talk) 15:08, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] [The Game (game)]]
Hi, you may want to rv back to just the deletin review notice and protect the page. Certain users seem to think the article should be up now while the deletion review is ongoing. My understanding of policy suggests that it should not. JoshuaZ 06:31, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Viritidas Removed Your Work
Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Heaven%27s_Stairway&diff=49580892&oldid=49570124 I put it back in again. He is also editing the discussion. Could you please talk to him in discussion. Simonapro 11:31, 22 April 2006 (UTC)]
- Hello, Simonapro. I moved your comments from Polotet's user page to talk. In response to your comment, you may not have noticed that I added the dispute tag. Polotet merely reverted to my version. I removed the tag that I originally added since the content in question has been removed. Since you have added the tag back in, you will need to justify its inclusion, otherwise the tag will be removed. In fact, I have asked you several times to make the case for your position. Wikipedia policy is somewhat clear on including original research from an unreliable, unattributed source, so your addition of the dispute tag in that case, may not be appropriate. You may wish to pursue this matter on the policy talk pages instead. Hopefully, Polotet can offer you some good advice as well. —Viriditas | Talk 01:08, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for voting in my RfA!
Just wanted to say thanks for voting in my RfA! The nomination didn't get consensus, but I'm glad I accepted. Thanks! - Amgine 20:26, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for rv
Thanks for reverting my blanking on the admin notice board. I had some browser problems, and mistakenly balnked a lot of material. Karwynn 19:09, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Help with vandal
Thanks for the help with the vandalism on Carol Shea-Porter. I know most people don't say anything, but I just noticed you and I were both working on it, so I decided to drop you a line. So, hello! > Iridescence < ( talk )( contrib ) 06:23, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
