Graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 1989 with a BA in Anthropology and also International Studies with a minor in German. Also spent one year as an exchange student to Kerava, Finland in 1984-85.
Received a MA in Heritage Preservation from Georgia State University in 1997.
Currently working on a biography that I hope to get published of my great, great grandfather Daniel Trigg of Abingdon, Virginia (1843-1909) who attended the United States Naval Academy and resigned in 1861 to join the Virginia Navy at the outbreak of the Civil War. At the close of the war, he was a Lieut. I'm expanding from my Master's thesis. Current draft.
