Pius Ikedia

Pius Nelson Ikedia (born July 11, 1980 in Lagos) is a football winger from Nigeria. He has played fifteen international matches and scored one goal for Nigeria, for whom he debuted in 1997. Ikedia played at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the 2000 Summer Olympics.
While still a teenager, Ikedia scored many goals along with Julius Aghahowa at Nigerian club Bendel Insurance. He played professional football for one year in Côte d'Ivoire before he was discovered by Dutch giants Ajax. Failing to break into Ajax's first team, he was loaned out to various Dutch clubs before signing with AZ Alkmaar in 2005. This season (2006-07) he's out on loan to RKC Waalwijk.
