Peter Jöback

Peter Jöback (born June 4, 1971 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish singer and musical artist.

Peter has a long music education, which contains "Adolf Fredriks musikskola"(Adolf Fredrik's school of music) as a child, the hich school "Södra latin", where he studied music, and The Royal academy of music (Kungliga Musikhögskolan), where he studied jazz. Peter has also had lessons on the Lasse Kühlers school of dance, as a teenager.
Peter is well known in Sweden for his many musical roles and records. He got his big breakthrough in 1996when he playd the character as Robert in the Musical "Kristina från Duvemåla", which is written by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson from ABBA. He competed in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1990, finishing 9th of 10 competers. Peter Jöback sang the song En sensation. In 1992 he sang a duet with the Swedish singer Towe Jaarnek. The song was More Than a Game, which was the official song for the 1992 European Football Championship. Peter is openly gay, and he has told he is proud of it.
