College Info The Park College of Engineering and Tekhnology is the culmination of the efforts of the group to provide a world class institution which is specially geared to meet the fast changing human resource needs of the country's industry and the global village. Situated in Kaniyur just 15 Kms away from Coimbatore Airport on NH47, the college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Govt. of India The College has been accorded ISO 9002 Certificate. The sprawling campus surrounded by green fields and coconut groves is everybody's ideal of a learning environment. The tastefully and functionally laid out workshop laboratories, playgrounds and gardens have been planned and executed by architects, experienced academicians and educationists of repute.

Dear friend,

I am happy to welcome you to PARK College of Engineering and Tekhnology. For a long time, collegiate education remained a mere dream for millions of our youth. Technical education was beyond their dreams. Things have changed drastically for the better in the past two decades. Now, every one who wants to get admission to an engineering course can get into it. The quantity of the Engineering College has obviously increased; but there are doubts about their quality.

Having established and run successfully several educational institutions under the PARK TRUST ranging from Primary and Secondary Schools to Arts and Science and Engineering Colleges and Polytechnics for over three decades, we thought that we must create an institution, which will be different from the rest. Such an institution must be capable of meeting the manpower needs of the new vibrant economy and the ever-changing technology-ridden industry and society. The institution will be an economic endeavourer in addition to being a moral enterprise.

The country has gone global subsequent to implementation of reforms and open-door policy of the Government; world players in industry and business are here. Our education must transform to meet with the changing human resource needs of the country and the emerging 'global village'; to succeed in the highly competitive and challenging hi-tech environment; we ought to have world-class institutions to deliver technical education in quality and variety. With this in mind we created PCET. The PCET is our humble contribution to nation building.

The Aeronuatical department students are the most aspiring and ambitious students. The students have passed out from the year 2001 to 2005 have made remarkable changes and major contributions in the research areas of Aerospace Agencies in India. We heartly thankful to our leader Air Vice Marshal TK Seshachari. OUR MOTTO: We are born to create history, not to read it.

The computer science department students are the most popular, especially the batch that passed out in 2004, referred to as "CSE2000". They have bought acclaim to the young college by bringing it to the limelight by their outstanding performance in both academics and extra curriculars. The computer science department is headed by Mrs. Vijaylakshmi. The CSE2000 batch can be seen as the first batch out of this college with a vision and a mission.

Alumni Association Hello To all current students,alumni and staff.I'm Sureshkumar,alumni of this college,graduated in BE Aeronautical Engineering in 2003.Now I'm doing my MS Aerospace Engineering program in University of Texas at Arlington,TX,USA. I was long waiting for our college to start an alumni association, but I'm frustated now.When I'm looking to start a software business in and around coimbatore, I felt stranded.Because I need yours hands to strengthen our dream but I've no idea how to contact all our alumni students, current students and staff even though we have powerful communication tools like internet available in our hands.So i like to invite all current students, alumni and staff to join a common group that I've started.http://groups.google.com/group/pcetcbe.
