Oudong
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Oudong (also romanized as Udong and Odongk) was a former royal capital of Cambodia prior to the current, Phnom Penh. In the year 1866, it was abandoned by King Norodom, taking his royal court along with him.
It was extensively bombed by the American forces, and then the Khmer Rouge destroyed much of what was remaining, under the authority of Ta Mok.
