Oleg Gorobiy (Russian: Олег Горобий), born 2 July 1971 in Voronezh, is a retired Russian flatwater canoeist who won seven world championship titles in the 1990's. He was a member of Russia's four-man kayak (K4) team from 1990 to 2003.
At the 1996 Olympics he won a K4 1000m bronze medal and also finished in fourth place in the K2 500m final with partner Anatoliy Tishchenko. At the 2000 Olympics he reached two finals, the K4 1000m and the K2 500m (with Evgeny Salakhov), placing seventh in each.
The final medal of his sprint career came at the Gainesville world championships in 2003 where he won bronze in the K4 500m.
In 2004 he joined the national Dragon boat squad as helmsman, winning four gold medals at the 2004 European championships at Stockton-on-Tees, England.
Height: 1.91 m (6'3"), race weight: 94 kg (207 lbs).
