Okanagan College is the predominant vocational and undergraduate post-secondary institution in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. With over 5000 full-time students it constitutes the largest college in British Columbia outside the Lower Mainland and Victoria.
With its roots dating back to 1965, Okanagan College has always played an important role in the development of the region. Formerly called Okanagan University College, on July 1, 2005, it was divided into Okanagan College and UBC Okanagan. In 2006 Okanagan College operated four main campuses, Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon and Salmon Arm, as well as many smaller access centres.
Okanagan College specializes in applied undergraduate education ranging from certificates to diplomas to baccalaureate degrees.
