Nzinga Blake
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Christine Nzinga Blake is an American/Sierra Leonean actress and writer currently working at Current TV. Blake starred on the TV series Fridays on Cartoon Network, as well as in national television commercials for Sprite and Kinkos. She was named after Nzinga of Ndongo and Matamba, a 17th century queen and folk heroine of the Mbundu people of southwestern Africa.
Blake is a 1999 graduate of Munster High School in Indiana, and a 2003 graduate of UCLA as a Film & Television Major. Her name, Nzinga, is generally pronounced without the leading n, /ziŋa/, in English. On an episode of google current she suggested (arguably jokingly) that she would be hopeful, to soon be cast in a major motion picture starring opposite Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt. [1]
