NC 132 is a North Carolina State Highway entirely within New Hanover County. It travels from US 117/NC 133 south to the eastern terminus of Interstate 40 (exit 420). From there, NC 132 continues south into Wilmington, North Carolina as College Road passing by the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Continuing south out of Wilmington, NC 132 ends at US 421 (Carolina Beach Road) just north of Carolina Beach. In 2002, US 117 was rerouted along most of NC 132 south to Shipyard Boulevard for construction of Interstate 140.
