Nicki Chapman (born 14 January 1967 in Herne Bay, Kent) is an English television presenter who also works in the British pop music industry.

Chapman worked her way up in the music industry from being Promotions Assistant at MCA records at the age of 21. She later worked at RCA as Head of Promotions where she first met Simon Cowell. She is a joint partner in the Brilliant! PR company with Nick Godwyn [1] which did PR for, among others, the Spice Girls, Charlotte Church and Billie Piper. She resultantly met Simon Fuller, and joined his management company 19 Entertainment, working with acts including Kylie Minogue, Take That, Annie Lennox, S Club 7, Van Morrison, and M People. In January 2001, she was promoted to the post of Creative Director at 19 Entertainment.
Chapman rose to fame as a judge on the UK editions of the ITV television series Popstars and Pop Idol, together with Simon Cowell, Pete Waterman and Dr Fox.
Chapman currently works as a presenter of numerous lifestyle programmes for the BBC and is a reviewer for Richard & Judy's Book Club [2]. In May 2006 she introduced the BBC's lunchtime covarege of the Chelsea Flower Show with Andy Sturgeon and Charlie Dimmock.
In 2006, Chapman was one of 12 celebrities in the BBC's Sport Relief showjumping programme Only Fools on Horses. Despite being a novice, she came second.

- Married to Dave Shackleton (aka Shacky), Vice President of BMG UK & Ireland International. They met in 1991, and he asked her out within two weeks - she turned him down, as she did for the next two years. After her Breast Cancer scare, the first person she called was "Shacky". He proposed a few years later in front of the Blue Mosque in Jerusalem, and they married at Sion Park - Charlotte Church sang at the ceremony, her wedding ring was hand-designed by a jeweller called R.G. Baker in Canterbury.

- Aged 21, Chapman applied for a promotions job in the music industry. The next day, she called and said I need to know if you want me, I've been offered another job, but this is the one I really want. Needless to say, they hired her [3]
- She is addicted to sweets! Gives them up each year for Lent: But I'm so irritable everyone can't wait for me to get back on them. I love all of them - Jaffa Cakes, chocolate bonbons, Cadbury's Buttons
- She discovered acrylic nails in New York, and uses a process called Pink and White that looks like a French manicure
