Nick Gorneault

Nick Gorneault was born April 19, 1979. He is a Major League Baseball outfielder in the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim minor league system.
He has yet to make his MLB debut.

- On August 28,2006, Gorneault homered leading off the ninth inning as the Salt Lake Bees earned a 3-1 victory over the Tacoma Rainiers.
- On August 12, 2006, Gorneault went 5 for 5 against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Gorneault belted on triple (5) and four single base hits, and is only the second member of the Salt Lake Bees to have a 5 for 5 game this season, the first was Howie Kendrick.
- On July 25th, 2006, Gorneault went yard for the first time since re-entering the line up on July 13th, 2006. Gorneault hit a 2-run homer off Memphis' Thompson in the top of the 4th inning. That at bat ties Gorneault with teammate Howie Kendrick at 13 homers and 62 RBIs on the season, the team's lead in both categories.
- On June 17th, 2006 Gorneault took a foul ball to the knee while at bat during a Father's day game. Gorneault was placed on the disabled list with the Angels' Triple A affiliate the Salt Lake Bees due to a fractured patella (knee cap) for 25 days.
- On May 31st, 2006 Gorneault doubled in his last at bat of the ballgame drving in runs and thus setting a record for the Bees Club of 13 straight games with an RBI.
- On April 18th, 2006 Gorneault slugged a three run homer as the Bees beat the Tucson Sidewinders 4-2. The Bees trailed 1-0 in the third when Gorneault lifted a 1-0 pitch from Tucson's Gonazalez over the wall in right field.

- Enjoyed finest professional season in first full triple-A campaign with Salt Lake.
- Led PCL with 108 RBI, was tops on the Stingers with 26 home runs and 26 doubles (tied with C Jeff Mathis), ranked second in the league with 106 runs scored and finished third in triples (11) and extra base hits (63, tied).
- Named PCL Player of Week, Aug. 29-Sept. 4 (.419, 13/31, 12 R, 4HR, 14 RBI).
- Put together 12 games with at least 3 RBI on season, including four 4-RBI games and two 5-RBI efforts.
- Tallied two multi-HR games.
