New Brunswick Highway 11 is one of the most important highways in eastern New Brunswick, Canada. The 430-kilometre long road runs from Shediac to the Quebec border near Campbellton, following the province's eastern and northern coastlines. Between Shediac and Miramichi, and between Bathurst and Campbellton, it is a two-lane expressway. The highway is twinned in the Shediac region.
The highway starts at New Brunswick Highway 15 in Shediac and goes northward past Bouctouche and Richibucto to Kouchibouguac National Park, then turning northwest to Miramichi, where it crosses the Miramichi River on the Centennial Bridge.
From Miramichi, Highway 11 turns northeast to hug the coast of the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Baie des Chaleurs. It is the main street through most of the towns in the Acadian Peninsula, including Neguac, Tracadie, Caraquet, Bertrand and Grande-Anse.
At Bathurst, Highway 11 becomes a bypass route, running past most of the towns between there and Campbellton. The road runs through the middle of Tide Head and follows the Restigouche River to the Quebec border.

Since the late 1960s, Route 11 has been the site of many upgrades and conversions to expressway. The first major upgrade was the opening of the Centennial Bridge and bypass of Chatham in 1967. Bypasses of Bathurst and the Campbellton-Dalhousie area, as well as a two-lane expressway from Shediac to Bouctouche, were completed in the early 1970s.
In the 1980s and into the early 1990s, two long stretches of two-lane expressway were completed; from Bouctouche to Kouchibouguac (bypassing the Richibucto area), and from Bathurst to Charlo, where the existing Campbellton bypass ended. The Bathurst bypass was also extended eastward past Salmon Beach.
A bypass of Tracadie-Sheila opened to traffic in 2002.
Route 11 followed the Shediac Road from Shediac to Moncton until 1972, when the Shediac Four-Lane Highway (part of Route 15) opened.
And also a major project will be undertaken on Route 11 following the improvements done on Route 2. Back in 2004 talks began between MLA for Kent South Claude Williams and Tranportation Minister Paul Robichaud to Twin Route 11 (From Shediac Bridge to Miramichi). And in 2005 they announced that under the new 400 million dollar agreement between the Federal and Provincial Governments towards improving New Brunswicks highway system. The first phase to be twinned will be the current twinned strech from the Route 15 to Shediac Bridge, then from Shediac Bridge to the Town of Bouctouche. Those improvements will be done to cope with the new traffic demands on Route 11.
