Neskonlith Indian Band

The Nesknolith Indian Band is a member of the Secwepemc (Shuswap) native nation was divided when the British government established an Indian reserve system in British Columbia in the 1860s. The Neskonlith Indian Band is divided into three reserves two near Chase, British Columbia, and one near Salmon Arm, British Columbia. The Neskonlith Indian Band is named after the Chief Neskonlith. The Band currently has around 500 members. [edit]
