[edit] Atlas Strategic, Please

Can you please not delete the Atlas Strategic page and the pages having to do with the band. I decided to make the wikipedia page because it is a great band but there isn't anything on the internet about them. I've been working for a few weeks compiling info about the band from emails and little bits you can find on other web sites. Please don't delete the Atlas Strategic, Rapture, Ye Minions!, or That's Familiar! pages, deleting the song pages would be fine though.

thanks mike

The reason for having the fact that 500 copies were made is to clear up the fact because in one place it says that it was pressed many times which isn't true. Thats just to clear it up. I'm not trying to promote the band. This was a significant band that Isaac Brock supported similar to the way he supports/supported Wolf Parade. He was close to signing Atlas Strategic to Subpop but they fell apart before that could happen. It is a significant band that had a short life, and isn't the point of this encyclopedia to let people add on to articles thus letting many people compile a more accurate and larger body of info than one person about a topic?

mike

my direct source is mainly the owner of the record label that atlas strategic is on. would it be smart to include this if i were to put an article up for the band?

mike

once again, my source is mainly the label, global symphonic, not from their website but from emailing the owner of the label. also i had the other sources that helped a little in the links. plus, if you let the page stay i know people who will add to it using the power of wikis to their full extent instead of working on a page to have it deleted.

how about i repost what i had and you give it 2 days to have stuff added on to it and if it doesnt satisfy you then go delete it?

- Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to The Proportional Pirate Law. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. NawlinWiki 18:29, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page such as Proportional Pirate Law, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. . Don't recreate this nonsense article under any title or you will be blocked from editing. NawlinWiki 17:36, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Avis Car Sales

I realize that a quick decision about this site would redirect to the Avis main page. But we are a licensee of Avis who sells cars. We sell cars with a growing number of local Avis licensees (see websites listed). Avis DOES NOT sell their cars. Avis doesn't even have a link on their website to redirect interest for used Avis cars or trucks. Please replace the information. Thank you. Michael

[edit] George Hartnagle

Am i gonna have to contact the local newspaper to prove this mans great exsistance? I know when i've been beaten, but you have to admit it was a gooden.

[edit] WHY DID YOU DELETE MY GROWLINGDOG PRODUCTIONS

You didn't really tell me why in the message.

[edit] why?

Why did you delete my article of The Don Randalls? they're a popular group where i live

I don't know why you removed my article about the ice cream store where a movie was filmed. It's not spam. I think your entries like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo are Way SPAM : those are just giant company promotions - how can you promote Huge chains & then say some interesting city trivia about a local shop, ON that City's page Is "SPAM"?? Diffraction 17:33, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't understand how to do what you said: hand on's & templates & requests -

The ice cream shop had a Tim Allen MOVIE filmed there - and that film was Joe Somebody - I can add the address I didn't know that was needed to make it 'not spam'

[edit] Deletion

Hi. I noticed that you removed my article about Clearogen and Revivogen, who is a reputable company that should be listed along the likes of Clearasil and others for acne.

I read the article for Clearasil and ours is less about advertising than theirs. What gives, and why did this article get deleted? It only contained facts about a Dermatologist and his comapany. There was no advertising in the article, only facts.

Please explain the cause of the deletion, and how these reputable companies get listed. Surely companies do not need to be Fortune 500 to be listed as brand name, and both of the company articles I wrote are brand name selling in shops around the world.

[edit] Speedies

Hi. I noticed that there's a backlog on speedy deletions. How does an ordinary Joe like me bring this to admins' attention... is there an appropriate noticeboard to post on? --Dweller 15:06, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Heavy Handed Delete?

You deleted one of my articles with the explanation "This article was deleted because it did not appear to meet the notability standards of WP:MUSIC and had no verifiable sources. NawlinWiki 21:26, 24 October 2006 (UTC)". Did you even look at the talk page? I cited my sources. Just because something is not on the net, doesnt mean that its not so. Wikipedia shoud be more than just plagarism from elsewhere IMO.Splurtronics 16:34, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Gibbons of the Pink Pepper

You also deleted my post on Gibbons of the Pink Pepper, even though they represent the local scene as it were. I thought Wikipedia was supposed to be encyclopaedic, but it appears that you only host information that you choose to. If I wanted local information regarding New Orleans I would ask a local such as yourself. Mussfeydratos 14:11, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kevin Munger

You seem to be on RC patrol, so would you mind having a look at the above? It looks speedy to me, but the tag won't stick. Thanks for your help. --TheOtherBob 18:02, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks again for your help. --TheOtherBob 18:05, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't understand, first of all "TheOtherBob" approbed this entry last night. Second, Brad Hines is a real person of signifigance. Please stop delteting this. He was on the front page of the USA Today for bringing back the domain industry, 12 million people saw his name. He is becoming widely known.

kindly,

Utz--Utzchips 18:27, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I don't think I ever "approved" this article in any way (not that it would require my approval in any event, of course). I'm not really sure what he's referring to, but if I did say something that sounded like I approved of this article, I did not mean to. Thanks. --TheOtherBob 18:43, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
In looking at this again, I noticed that my quote marks around "approved" may have looked like a comment on Utzchips's spelling - which wasn't my intent. (I put it in quotes because I can't "approve" anything.) I don't see that any offense was taken - but I apologize if there was. --TheOtherBob 20:15, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

I will do so. I am new at wikipedia, still getting the hang of it. I keep getting the damn article pulled on before I can finish it lol.

[edit] Elaine Harman

Wow, that's one hell of a catch. If this dingbat is encouraging her listeners to vandalize this site via the public airwaves, she deserves to lose her gig. The day I'd pull that stunt on my radio show would be the last day I'd be broadcasting on it. Need to send her an e-mail from one broadcaster to another if these keep popping up. Damn these stupid "morning zoo" stunts, anyway. - Lucky 6.9 20:09, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Automated Chinchilla Mangle

well cant blame a guy for trying, thanks anyway, hopefully when the band does go more major then I will be able to put up an article but till then i'll just leave things the way they are.

-Omaster

[edit] Sigma Gamma Rho

I just reverted all the recent edits to it, which is kind of drastic - it really needs something half way in between, but the user was spamming us with NN-bios and also put them in there. I have to go right now, could you take a look, since the user keeps messing up her talk page with merge tags, and she is aa trifle upset. --ArmadilloFromHell 22:05, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

She just vandalized one of my user subpages, so I reported her. --ArmadilloFromHell 22:09, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Can you remove the deletion tags on the article?

[edit] Castle Hills First Baptist Church

I went to contest the speedy deletion of my entry on Castle Hills First Baptist Church and found it already deleted. I was wondering if there is any way to recover any of the work I had done thus far. The church is a major staple of Castle Hills, TX, a suburb of San Antonio, TX. It has existed for over 50 years and has had major impact in the local community of Castle Hills. Please contact my talk space as soon as you can. MattFBC 11:47 2 November 2006

CHFBC has notability and controversy surrounding its size. Specifically, it has been deadlocekd with the city of Castle Hills over its expansion; This controversy between the city and the church has been covered by a third party source. You can verify this at http://www.becketfund.org/index.php/case/42.html?PHPSESSID=73252e44c34db96ff987ba08add32832 and http://www.becketfund.org/index.php/article/108.html. In terms of the church's local scope, I can verify that through San Antonio's local NBC affiliate WOAI and through documents provided by the church (ie magazines, newsletters and websites from the church). I mention all of this in hopes that the work I had done thus far could be recovered in some way. I would appreciate it greatly if any of my contributions fall under the guidelines of speedy deletion that I get a chance to properly contest the speedy deletion and retain the work I had completed before it is permanently removed. The only time I'm free to edit and contribute to wikipedia is usually during my lunch break at work, so it takes me longer to complete articles than other, more seasoned wikis. MattFBC 18:33, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Immediate deletion of 4-Sight Fax

You deleted my article 4-Sight Fax within a few minutes of it being created, on the grounds that it was advertising. If you had really read the article, you would have seen that it was not promoting the product in question, merely describing it. It is a significant piece of software, and deserves an article here. If you had bothered to check my edit history, you would also have discovered that I have a wide-ranging interest in fax software, and have created and improved several articles on the subject, of which that was just the latest. I have no commercial connection with the subject of the article.

Luckily, I still have the material still sitting in my text editor, so I am going to restore the article. Please do not delete it again without prior discussion.

[edit] You are fast

How can you possibly delete articles within 30 seconds of their posting, do you just sit at your computer all day? And please just let me have gooby baby be an article, its not like anyone is really going to look at it.

[edit] Why was my article removed?

Hello.

I have looked over a lot of wiki documents then added an article for a company. The article listed about the company, no products were mentioned but yet this article was deleted. Why is this? Article was "Webzo"

Thanks, Webzo.

[edit] response to your response about ARM TV =

What originally got me to add my information was because I saw bios of celebrities building them up regarding their achievments and such...if this isn't VANITY then I don't know what is.

I have read stuff on Wikipedia and I think that their is some definite contradiction to your statements page. And that sponsorship came from notoriety that he received from ESPN...something that wouldn't have happened without us.

Now that...being said. I won't pretend to know the ways around Wikedia so I would like a little help to establish a page that you would find suitable. Whether you appreciate the sport of armwrestling or not....it is a fact that this is a growing sport and I personally have had a great deal to do with that fact. If it were to explode on television which we are trying to do...I would be a key person involved in the future of this sport.

so after seeing some of the other categories that are found in this site...I feel pretty confident knowing that my company has a place here. You have kept a link to it on the armwrestling page. Why is that? You will see it as armwrestling.tv

the following names all relate to the same group of sites that we run.

armwrestling.com armwrestlingtv.com armwrestling.tv armtvnation.com rulerofthenation.com myarmtv.com armtvboard.com

I am sorry but if ideepthroat.com has a page on this site then there is definitely wrong with deleting my legitimate company. I did a search for a the topic of porn to see if there was any WEBSITES related to the subject with pages on this site. I picked the worst topic I could to justify my side...and after reading some of that info...I feel quite vindicated.

PS I am at this moment...Manchester England filming a World Championships...45 countries...over 900 athletes...over 1400 entries from around the world...any the company that is promoting this event is deleted from your website while porn is not.

Have a great day.

[edit] user 216.226.127.120

Hi there, I noticed you put up a last warning to user 216.226.127.120 today because of vandalism (The IP is assigned to a school district, so big surprise there). I have to rv the Pittsford Mendon High School very regularly for vandalism from this user. Please block them from editing! Many thanks! Arwcheek 16:23, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:ChenLinMing

I indef blocked this user, but saw that you had done that previously and overturned it. His edits are all vandalism, and he created a page called I love raping traffic cones that redirected to a userpage. If you want to overturn it, please do and just drop a note on my talk page. -- Merope 17:34, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] g11 speedy AFTER Afd

This has taken me a serious amount of time to sort out (because of redirects and page moves), but you g11'ed Contiki Holidays, which surved Afd, presumably before being moved [Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Contiki Tours].--Limegreen 21:18, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Cheers for the speedy response! That was particularly convoluted. It took me about 20 minutes to find the Afd (if I hadn't known it was there I don't think I could have found it). I think the problem is that Contiki Tours is notable historically, but someone is trying to promote the current 'Contiki Holidays' format in a spammy fashion. I'll try and keep an eye on it. Thanks again. --Limegreen 21:48, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notability is relative

I am new to wikipedia so you might need to explain it to me, more than just point me to the notability page.

Somehow I am lost with what defines notability among the wikipedia powers-that-be? It must be somewhere between US District judges and Wampus Cats, otherwise it's deleted right away. Is that accurate?

Of course, I'm being just a bit sarcastic. But, really...what may be notable for one person might not for others. And if we're supposed to be deciding based on consensus, doesn't that mean others should also air their take on the matter of notability or not? user:koolkideco

[edit] You deleted my page

[edit] Another peek at Locksport?

Hi, I was wondering if you'd be willing to take another glance at the discussion page [[1]] (still getting the hang of the wiki, but trying to learn!) for Locksport, which you had marked for deletion. I think the conversation has been genuinely interesting. I'll be curious to see how it ends up, but I would be interested in your current opinion on the matter. I believe there is definately more to be added to the article in general, but I'm hoping people may be starting to see a reason for it's existence.

Either way, thanks for taking the time to read this. :) Be well! SchuylerTowne 07:37, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copyvio on Mike Moncrief

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Mike Moncrief article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I irrevocably release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, for use on Wikipedia and elsewhere."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. Looks like from here that [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mike_Moncrief&diff=57422745&oldid=40451824 what you merged was a pretty big copyvio from the Mike Moncrief biography site. [edit] Speedy Speedy Speedy

I am concerned with the recent Wikipedia trend in speedy delete. I'm not really arguing that some of these articles shouldn't have been deleted, but this speedy trend has to stop. I have many articles in my watch list that have been deleted so speedily I never knew about it. Because once they're gone I get no notices. I wouldn't mind input on these deletions. I have read the "What wikipedia is and is not, and also the criteria for speedy deleting. I do think many of the articles ultimately may need to be deleted, however these articles recently became part of a wiki project I think it is completely unfair for them to be indiscriminately deleted this way. The very fact they are in a project that just started should tell you this. I wish you would consider this before going ahead and speedy deleting anything that has a speedy delete nomination.Anonym1ty 21:23, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bullshitnow

Would you tell me what's up with this page (and others like it)? There's no obvious reason to have an article by this name, so I'm not astonished that you deleted it. But how did it get on my watchlist? I'm sure I didn't put it there. This is not the first time I've seen deleted pages pop up on my watchlist like this.

I have to suspect that somebody moved a page that I'd watched to a BS name, perhaps vandalizing the content as well. Then you deleted it. I wonder if this is the case and, if so, if you restored the good content to its original name. Then I'd like to see if the original page is still on my watchlist.

This is a technical issue more than anything else; please don't think I'm saying you're doing anything out of the ordinary. I'd just like to figure out exactly what's going on. Thank you. John Reid ° 07:59, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Some vandal moved User talk:Tony Sidaway to Bullshitnow. I moved it back and deleted the Bullshitnow page. Hope this helps, NawlinWiki 13:01, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Well that's what I thought. The original page is still on my watchlist and so is a redlink to the move. I can't quite figure out why, though. Anyway, not a problem for you to solve. I just wanted the original name so I could check. Thanks. John Reid ° 18:24, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Why

why did you delete my page, and why was I not notified of its deletion?

[edit] Croglin

I noticed you deleted an article on Croglin cheese. This deletion shows your naivete about cheeses in general and British cheeses in particular. I presume you will also be deleting Camembert, Brie and Stilton (only 6 companies are licensed to produce it) as they are all cheeses produced by the locals of particular regions in their country. You will also need to delete Champagne, as it reflects a drink only produced by a few producers in the champagne region of France.

Secondly, this article on Croglin was produced by me on the basis of a link from a page dedicated to cheeses, i.e. not originated by me - but appearing on 'British cheeses'. Finally, taking out the name of the company who produces the cheese was all that was necesaary - edit not delete. If this is your criteria then please delete IBM, Esso and Microsoft..... I think you should be a little less heavy handed with your deleting capability - as other have also suggested above.

Please be so kind as to put the article back up again and I will edit by leaving out the company name. (Beano9763 11 Nov'06 20:10 GMT)

.... and my comments above about IBM, Esso and Microsoft? I have read their articles and they couldn't be more about advertising each company. Why doesn't that conflict with the policy of not advertising. By the way, I have nothing to do with Croglin. I just independently researched the cheese and put up an article which links from British Cheeses. You currently have the upperhand in that I do not now have access to the original article to refer and determine whether your comments are in fact justifiable. However, one thing I would say, is that both Champagne and Stilton were originally produced by one producer and then that 'brand' was taken up by others. I am sure that if Croglin is as good as it is suggested, the production by other dairies is inevitable. What happens then to the article? Finally, and in the vein of your refutation of the article on Croglin, what about Chevington (one producer), Stinking Bishop (one producer), Ilchester Cheese Company (not a cheese at all) and lastly, Coleraine cheddar (one producer). Tell me that these aren't brands, then I'm a Dutchman. Beano9763 15 Nov'06 18:05 GMT

I would like to add that they seem to delete a lot of things that they deem to be advertising but leave in the big companys blatant advertising......... maybe they receive donations from them.

I have just had my submission removed as advertising yet there is a full category dedicated to and full of articles exactly the same as mine.............. maybe they receive donations from them???

Can someone from wikipedia please explain the blatant double standards?

[edit] Thank you for deleting Tourettes Guy

This sort of thing has NO business on Wikipedia. He's obviously faking, yet the people or person that produces this stuff want people to think he's real. Plus, it's very insulting to Tourette Syndrome sufferers to have someone lampoon them. Nagaflas

[edit] Please Dont

I noticed you deleted my wiki named kick on which is a widely used in my city possibly the whole country it defines an entire culture of teenagers. please dont do it again unless you know the full circumstances and verifications on what this is. please justify or else i want it back on. Thank you. --TopherSheffield 03:12, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Oops

Not sure how I accidentally recreated that "pj and cameron" page while speedy tagging. Usually I get a warning if the page has already been deleted...Thanks for fixing it.Dina 17:45, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please Don't

Please refrain from deleting my creations. Who are you to decide what is notable. To the world Maximilian may be just one person, but to one person he may mean the world. Who are you to write history? Stop censoring history. The truth will set us free. Thank You for Your time, Just because you know someone doesn't mean you love them, and just because you don't know people doesn't mean you can't love them. You can fall in love with a complete stranger in a heartbeat, if God planned that route for you. So open your heart to strangers more often. You never know when God will throw that pass at you.

[edit] Templates

Hi there;you just deleted an article entitled McKenzie Boyle, which I had just tagged and which clearly deserved it. You sent a message via template to the author. It looks to be a very useful template, but I could not quite figure out how to insert it. Could you please tell me?--Anthony.bradbury 22:47, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Accelerated Christian Education

Hi NawlinWiki,

I notice that you have edited Accelerated Christian Education or Talk:Accelerated Christian Education. You may be aware that this article was tagged for clean up in September. I have started a rewrite of this article at Accelerated Christian Education/draft. Please take this opportunity to make improvements to this artlce.

Also note that material about the administration of the ACE curriculum in schools should be included in a new article at School of Tomorrow, not in the Accelerated Christian Education article.

[edit] My Hole

I wasn't testing - I was creating a serious article, it's a kid's/immature adult game and I was cross-referencing it with the "ok" sign. Please advise. Q Jenkins 15:50, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

What is considered a reliable source? Is there something I can look at as far as a guide? Thanks! Q Jenkins 15:53, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your help! Q Jenkins 15:55, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Ok, just to be sure - mainstream references, would that exclude websites on free hosting providers, (Geocities, Angelfire, etc)? Q Jenkins 15:58, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Ok, that's where No Original Research comes in. Thanks for your help, and for being patient with me. Q Jenkins 16:01, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] This is not all about biographies

What the hell are you talking about the mihd? I wasn't even done with the article, why did you erase it? Because you think it's so cool to be part of the "anti vandalism" team? Well guess what, so am I; because I really hate spam. I'm writing about this place because I hear a lot of my friends talking about. We have a file sharing community and we talk a lot about this kind of services. Besides, why in hell would it be considered what you said it be? That was in a section called "comparison" didn't you read or what?

If you're trying to make a good image of yourself like this I think you're going to have a lot of problems later. This is a users-built community; watch out what you do; this kind of behavior is what tears apart the communities. We're here to share what we think is valuable and needed information.

[edit] You deleted my page

OMG i cant believe you did that! The page was about a small business that wasnt advertising. It was just stating what it was, and where it was. and who owned it! What gives on the deletion?

[edit] Genmay

I noticed you removed the speedy tag form General mayhem. Please reconsider this- the current deletion of Genmay is up at this DRV. I'm pretty sure they're just going around creating duplicates (ie General mayhem forums) to evade deltion. Thanks. --Wafulz 20:30, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Howstat

Hi -

Just to let you know that I noticed earlier today that you deleted Howstat on 28 October as a WP:CSD A7, after it was tagged for speedy deletion by Tony fanta with the comment "fails wp:web, alexa of 366,204".

As far as I am aware, Alexa is not the sole judge of whether a website is notable (I don't see it mentioned in WP:WEB), and Howstat is one of the three most important sites of cricket statistics on the internet, along with Cricinfo and CricketArchive. I have undeleted the article, but I guess it could go via WP:AFD or WP:DRV if you insist. There is also some relevant discussion at WT:CRIC. -- ALoan (Talk) 20:43, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Housekeeping CSD

Hi Nawlin, if you have a moment, can you do a housekeeping speedy for me at Dassault nEUROn? This is part of a move of Dassault Neuron (see talk page there...)...to emphasize the European aspect of this plane, they've decided to spell it" nEUROn. Thanks! Akradecki 15:28, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Versaframe speedy deletion?

You deleted my Versaframe article as "clearly written to promote a company, product, or service". This is confusing to me. Wikipedia contains entries for products such as Coca-Cola Black Cherry Vanilla and Creative MuVo MP3 players. My Versaframe entry did not include any promotional wording. It was strictly a vanilla description of a popular frame system. In contrast, the Black Cherry Vanilla Coke entry includes the following clearly promotional text - "innovative fusion of real cola, luscious black cherry, and smooth vanilla flavors [which] creates a taste that is complex and delicious"

What differentiates promotional entries for the Coke and Creative products from a non-promotional entry for VersaFrame? Please advise. Thanks!

[edit] Edit conflicts

Hi there; you have just beaten me to the draw, so to speak, in deleting two articles that i was busy flagging for deletion, and in one message I was sending to the users of these articles. No criticism intended, of course - they needed urgent deletion - but has anybody ever looked at figuring out a way of flagging an article or page to which text is being added, to save other editors attempting to do so and provoking an edit conflict?--Anthony.bradbury 22:22, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Why Did You Delete The ACO Page

This page is not vandalism. I am simply writing about a new group in my area. I written it in an unbiased way so that it was not actually offensive to chavs. If you are going to delete this article then ,logically, you should go about deleting other articles for being about about certain groups that offend other groups e.g. The KKK. I therefore see that there is no reason for calling my article innapropriate and deleting it.

[edit] Spy Chase!

I cited Spy Chase's website, but now it's protected. I don't see the point in deleting it. Spy Chase! is a musician who is trying to set a world record. That's why I thought it was important. Sorry for jostling you.

Your friend, Nick

Hi, you either deleted or moved a page I was working on. Now it says that I can't add to it, and I hadn't added my sources yet... how can I do that now?

[edit] The Cheetah Girls Sitcom

  • Please, do not delete things before you read them or at least attempt to discuss it with the creator of the page. If you'd look you'd know that I run The Cheetah Girls page and I know everything there is to know about them. Also, if you had read the article it says that the series was a series and then cancelled before it could air and could possess information that is encylopedic. Jtervin 21:41, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 206.110.185.20 Vandalism

Just to let you know, this is a school's IP address. Many students here access Wikipedia at the advisory of teachers and faculty, and based on your message, it would appear some of them have found the magical edit button. It might be in the best of interests to disable the ability of this IP address to edit articles, but as for banning all access to Wikipedia, it might upset a few people here. I'm a student, and on behalf of the people who have vandalized this website, I apologize. My real username login is Lucifer7. 206.110.185.20 22:38, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:William M. Connolley/Compliments and endorsements

This User:William M. Connolley/Compliments and endorsements is not his user page, this User:William M. Connolley is. The first is just self promotion and a page to show positive comments about himself. In no encyclopedia in the world would you find something like this, it serves no purpose. Can anyone make a new user name just to post positive comments about themselves? Is that what Wikipedia is about?

[edit] Deeply unpleasant repeated vandalism by an Anon you've recently blocked.

Hi Your end of Oct block on User:212.219.90.226 has, since expiry, resulted in a slew of further vandalism, some of which (such as this diff (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chris_King&diff=prev&oldid=87776141)) is deeply unpleasant. Given the long-running persistence of this anon, can I once more request your considered intervention. Thanks. --Dweller 12:24, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Help

I'm sorry to bother you, but User:JBKramer reverts my edits and left a "Sock Notice" on my userpage. [edit] Route 66 (The Cheetah Girls song)

Route 66 (The Cheetah Girls song) needs to be restored because content from there was merged into Route 66 (song) and we need the edit history to credit all contributors. [edit] Vandal

Hi there; would you like to review the contributions of User:70.91.67.178, whom you have previously blocked for vandalism? He/she continues to vandalise, and as far as I can see the account is a vandalism-only account. Most recent attack was on Auschwitz concentration camp. It is, I also realise, an anonymous account and may be shared. Is any action possible? Would a permanent block be justifiable?--Anthony.bradbury 21:47, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
