Nathan Wert was born in New London, Conn., on the 29th of December, 1969. Nathan spent most of his childhood in various parts of Southern California before joining the United States Air Force as a Fire Fighter and ultimately ending up in Lancaster, New Hampshire.

[edit] Military Career
Nathan’s primary MOS was as a fire fighter, but he also spent time as a 911 dispatcher. During his time in the Air Force Nathan was stationed at: Lackland AFB, Texas; Chanute AFB, Illinois, and Andrews AFB, Wash DC. Nathan was also TDY to Avon Park, Florida; and Biloxi, Mississippi. While in the military, Nathan received the following certifications:

Nathan started his first job right after he turned 16 at McDonald's, as a maintenance person. He then transferred to another McDonald's where he became a manager a month after he turned 18. From there he took a job as a video store clerk, then onto opening a new Jack-In-The-Box restaurant as a manager. Followed by a grocery store bagger.
He left the grocery store for one of his more satisfying jobs as a 6th grade outdoor education cabin leader (camp counselor at Arrowhead Ranch; which has since closed). After the camp he joined the United States Air Force, while in the military he also worked at a One-Hour Photo place as the Night Manager. Once out of the military Nathan moved on to become a Library Supervisor at Northland College,Ashland, Wisconsin Fish Canner in Ketchikan, Alaska (business has closed).
Upon coming home from Alaska he married his girlfriend, Christy Sargent and started a job as a Grocery Store Front-End Manager (Glorified bagger again, and trainer). After about a year the couple packed up and joined the Carson & Barnes Circus. Once she became pregnant they left the circus and then Nathan went on to manage at Pizza Hut of Platteville, Wisconsin,. After four years Nathan quit and started working at Country Inn for about a year as the hey-you-we-need-this-done-you-do-it person (i.e.: he was front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, advertising, management).
Currently Nathan is working full time driving a commuter bus, and part time: driving a school bus, as an EMT-B, and as a Fire Fighter.

Nathan’s educational background consists of two wasted years at Riverside Community College, two classes during the military, and then another year at a Northland College. He is currently taking his last class at The University of Phoenix-Online and will be receiving his Bachelors in Business Management.

The first thing people realize when they see Nathan is that he is bald and very tall (6’5”). Then they think he looks like Anthony Edwards or Chris Elliot from the movie Cabin Boy. From there people learn that Nathan can be a very sarcastic person with a very, very dry sense of humor. Nathan’s Home life right now consists of himself, his wife (Christy), their daughter (Katherine), and a rabbit named Miss Bunn.

Nathan is also an amatuer photographer using a Fuji Finepix S5100. Nathan is the Photographer for the Lancaster Fire Department and takes his camera everywhere with him. He has aspirations of becoming a professional photographer, but doubts that will ever happen.
