I just commented on the talk page. The problem I have with the article is that it claims so much without citing any references, and then the voice is so POV Christian. I guess it bothers me, not only given my MDiv, but as a person who loves history and historical accuracy. Maybe I'll go back to that page when I have some time off and access to my books. I replaced what was there with more accurate information. This section is also in the regular Rabbit page (I wrote it there originally, then found this page). I have a lot of experience with rabbits and have several resources that support what I've written. I've put 2 of the resources as footnotes at the end, but I'll add more tomorrow. I'm currently at work and don't have the other books here. The two sources I did reference today are hand-outs and I'm not sure how to make them accessible to the average person wanting more info. If you could let me know how, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

I edited the cage information, feeding, teeth clipping info and holding. I have had rabbits for more than 18 years, showed them for a kind of FFA organization and won numerous ribbons.
I edited the cage information because I made the mistake, at the age of 11, of putting one of my rabbits in an all-mesh cage. She was disqualified from showing because she had 2 previously undetected broken toes from getting her nails caught in the bottom of her cage. It's also so important to have a solid bottom so that the rabbits don't get sore hocks, which could easily get infected and cause major problems including blood poisoning from infection.
I edited the feeding information to be more accurate. I've actually had rabbits get violently ill on diets of pellets and water. Fresh vegetables are a necessity, not a treat. Unlimited hay is a necessity, not a treat. Salt blocks are unnecessary and can be treats, along with mineral blocks. Chew toys made of wood and/or cardboard are necessities, not treats. The reason rabbits need unlimited hay and several wooden chew toys is for their psychological health as well as their physical health. The hay aids in their digestion. The hay keeps the teeth trimmed down. The wooden chew toys also aid in keeping their teeth trimmed down. I cannot express enough how important it is to treat their teeth naturally, that clipping is a serious procedure and should be used in serious, emergency situations, like malocclusion.
