The beginning starts out showing [Roger] Nhat's father, who is sort of like Heaven's messenger. [Dicky] Nguyet's father is watching from his hideout. [Roger] Nhat's mother just gave birth to him, and he has a jade around his neck. He mother is currently pregnant, they`re not sure if it's a girl or a boy. But they're mother want Nhat's father to name the baby. and he Decides "NGUYET". Well, Nhat's father leaves doing something important, that's when Ma Dao comes and uses his magic to make the baby his, as the Evil's messenger. Well Nhat's father comes back the two fight, Nhat's father locks the Evil into a mirror, shaped like the Taoist symbol, but dies as a result of it. the fighting is really good, for the really old ones
20 years past, the boys live with Chi Kieu, and Baba. They`re BaBa had found them as children and brought them home, but their Ong left because he wanted BaBa to give birth to a boy, but she had Chi Kieu [a girl].
Any ways, the boys are out in the village as Chi Kieu chases after them to get them to return to the mountain, But the boys found themselves following two men to go to the king's palace. The Prince has been acting strange, the men they followed were suppose to Magic Doc's but it turns out they were men of Thanh Thanh, and wanted jewels. They also turn into Thanh Thanh, pretending to me the princess. Roger & Dicky wanted to blow her cover, but mistaking the REAL princess for her.
the king is real upset & demands them to be punished, by chopping off their heads, but they promise to find out the prince's sickness. Which they did, Then the King had given them money for a house, it was LOTS of money. the rest goes on... they meet Lau Ka Fai who catches criminals, but charges money to do so. He is sort of an Assassin. Well, they eventually become in his debt because he catches the villains of the Village, but Roger & Dicky get all the credit.
It Goes on, until Father Heaven summons ROGER and shows him GENEOLOGY, he finds out Dicky isn't his brother. The scene where Dicky wanted Roger to kill him, but he didn't because he loved him too much. Those scenes were real emotional. Eventually Roger Kills Dicky, but Dicky gets a chance to live if they could have Lau Ka Fai's blood to let him live....
