Somebody deleted most of the history with regards to the crisis leading to the formation of MTG Salvation. I don't know why that was, but I believe some of that content is still important and relevant so I restored it. Also, recently alleged "personal attacks" noting Yu's absense from the site's staff were removed. This is a simple fact that I can testify to as a former staff member and assistant webmaster. As for the reasons for Yu planning to close the cite, these were not monetary, as I can personally testify to and as can be seen in Yu's original anouncment: "This closure is not due to financial trouble but for reasons that I do not wish to discuss publicly." I deleted most of the MTGnews entry because of how obsensely biased it was.

Well, the History of MTGnews could certainly use some work- there's barely anything there between early 2002 and early 2004, and it'd probably help to go more in-depth on the recent events, and maybe delete some others. Perhaps a screenshot of the forums, too? -Senori 04:30, Jan 3, 2005 (UTC)

So I stumbled upon this entry in Wikipedia and I must say this is pretty cool :) Many cool fond moments down the memory lane. Looking back, I have grown so much as a person, a lot of things back then were pretty petty and drama filled, even with the rivalry. It's amazing how much things look bigger when you are in a tight space.
I added a lot of history between 1998 and 2004 that most people won't remember or know, especially the later comers. Those were special pieces of memory when the site was still young and things were less complicated.
I also modified the entry to be more objective, as an encyclopedia entry should be. Also I removed some details of myself that I don't think belonged in there. It's an entry about the website, not me.
For things that happened after 2004, I hope there are good historians to record it as it's currently very slim.
