Modern Men was an American comedy television series which premiered Friday, March 17, 2006 on The WB.
The series was created by writers Ross McCall & Aaron Peters, and Marsh McCall, who was a showrunner on Just Shoot Me.
The show also represents one of Executive Producer Jerry Bruckheimer's first forays into half-hour situation comedy, after his wild success in the hour long TV world with the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation series and many others.
This series is about three single men, and lifelong friends, who hire a life coach to help them with their love lives.
The series stars Eric Lively, Josh Braaten, and Max Greenfield. Marla Sokoloff and George Wendt (Cheers) are also part of the cast.
Wendie Malick played the life coach in the pilot episode, but when her series Jake in Progress was renewed, the role was recast with Jane Seymour.
The show was cancelled on May 18, 2006, due to the merger of the WB and UPN that created the new network The CW.
