Michael ("Mike") Alex Conley (born October 5, 1962 in Chicago) is an American track & field athlete competing in the triple jump. He is one of only four men in the history of the event to jump over 18 m. He is also a former Olympic and World champion in the event.
Mike competed collegiately at the University of Arkansas where he won 16 NCAA long jump and triple jump titles. Conley still owns the U.S. triple jump indoor record at 17.76 meters/58 feet, 3.25 inches.
Conley's son, Mike Conley Jr., is a basketball guard who begins playing for the Ohio State University in the 2006-2007 season.
