I agree with you that a list of clubs would be better, but as you say, nothing is better than the constant tussling over which ones to include. I also agree that some of the recent edits are vandalism and others are at best ill-intentioned. Honestly, I'm at the "a plague on all their houses" stage. I am prepared to step in with a semi-protection if this continues, and I agree that there are a number of other issues on the article that need attention.
