[edit] License tagging for Image:921litefm.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:921litefm.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Image tagging for Image:92_1140308010.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:92_1140308010.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Proposed deletion of Sleep Tech Inc.
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Sleep Tech Inc., suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Sleep Tech Inc.. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --Kinu t/c 19:12, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
I noticed that however according to the administrator i addressed this issue with, stated it was a notable company and that there was no need to list each location, i summed it up adding, Numerous locations on the East Coast Mgarnes2 01:25, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
- Mgarnes2, the template should be {{hangon}} with 2 parenthesis. And that is used for speedy deletion nominations. The Sleep Tech Inc article is just nominated for deletion. (Not speedy deletion) so there is no need to use the template. Instead there should be a discussion here [1] on whether it should be deleted or not. However I believe the nominator did not follow the correct procedure and so the AFD discussion page does not exsit. You might want to contact the user who nominated it for deletion, or an admin about this because I'm sorry but I'm not exactly sure what to should be done right now, cos the correct procedure has not been followed. --snowolfD4( talk / @ ) 02:08, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

- What you see on the AFD page is the standard message for a page that is not yet created. Please discard it. It does not apply in anyway to your article.
- You are most certainly welcome to add content to Wikipedia. But the problem is that not everyone considers something as equally important. That is why we have AFD discussions. Everyone expresses their point of view on the matter and in the end an administrator deciedes whether to keep the article or not.
- I am not in anyway saying what you added to Wikipedia is not important, and very often nominations for deletion are unsuccessful and the article is kept. However the nominator of the article believed that the article was not notable and so the normal process must be followed.
- But like I said, the problem here is that the nominator did not follow the correct procedure, and so the article has not been nominated correctly. Again I'm really sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what should be done now. So you should contact an admin about this. They will know how to procede.
- And please remember, everyones contributions to Wikipedia are very valuable, so please keep contributing to Wikipedia. --snowolfD4( talk / @ ) 02:28, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

- I contacted an admin for you and he should look into it. He will tell you what to do. Until then please leave the templates on the page as that is what Wikipedia guidelines dictate.
- The reason I added the AFD templates back was I was on RC Patrol and noticed someone had removed the templates, which should not be done. I did not make a judgement on whether it should be deleted or not. I just followed procedure that says AFD templates should not be deleted except by an admin.
- Again please remember, just because 1 user nominated the article for deletion, that does not mean it should be deleted. A large number of article are nominated for deletion everyday and quite a few of the are ultimately kept. So please do not think that everyone wants to delete your articles. Agian I'm sorry i couldn't be anymore help, but the admin should resolve this soon.--snowolfD4( talk / @ ) 02:52, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

- Mgarnes2 really sorry about this. An admin Antandrus explained the procedure to me. I'll just quote what he said

There's three ways of deleting on Wikipedia: speedy (which this article is not; it's not nonsense); WP:PROD (which is how it's currently tagged; the rules are that anyone can remove the tag, and if not removed, the article may be deleted after five days); and WP:AFD. Not taking a position on the notability of the company, it would seem that you could leave it as it currently is. If anyone (including the creator) removes the "PROD" tag, then you can put the AFD tag on it.
To my eye, it's obviously a good-faith article, but I haven't investigated whether it's a notable company or not. The directions are fairly clear on the AFD page if you want to make a deletion nomination there. I think what might have confused you is that when you PROD an article, you don't have to list it anywhere, so there won't be a corresponding AFD page. Hope this helps, Antandrus (talk) 03:13, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi
Hi, I noticed that you are seeking to be adopted. At this point, I don't think that I would have the ability to give you the personal attention that you deserve if I were to adopt you, seeing as I have already adopted 2 other users. However, until someone else adopts you, I am available if you need advice. Just feel free to leave a message on my talk page, and I will respond when I get a chance. Cheers, -- THLCCD 23:10, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm currently availible for at least an hour and a half. What questions do you have? -- THLCCD 00:10, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
It also sounds like you may have misunderstood what I was saying. Seeing as I could only fill a mentor position, and not provide you with the personal touch that you deserve, I was going to leave you open for adoption. That way, someone who could give you the personal touch could adopt you. I was offering to give you advice and answer your questions until someone else adopted you. Cheers, -- THLCCD 00:18, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Hello, I am DarknessLord, and experienced editor, and I am putting you up as my adoptee so you can be adopted, ok? If you don't want me to be your adopter, please inform me here and I'll get to changing the templates around.

[edit] Arlington High School (LaGrange, New York)

[edit] Some Suggestions
Let me suggest a few things to help you improve on Wikipedia:
- Try to run your text through a spell-check and grammar-check before you post it.
- People do not get banned (nor should they be reported to admins) after 1, or even 2, warnings, except in extreme situations.
- Removing sections of articles is not always vandalism. See being bold and parts of vandalism.
- You can find pre-made warning templates at: WP:TT, so you don't have to make up your own.
- Everything you add to an article should be verifiable and should have references (especially if the information is not obvious).
- Do not tag images you find on the Internet as {{cc-by-sa-2.5}}, unless you actually made them yourself, or know that that is the right tag.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Nationalparks 01:00, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
