The second soundtrack of rock music inspired by the Showtime series Masters of Horror, Masters of Horror, Vol. 2 once again features a collection of tracks that lean toward a horror movie aesthetic. As such, the compilation includes such gothoriented bands as Cradle of Filth, Seether, and Lacuna Coil. However, rather than only focusing on numetal groups with vampire fixations, Masters of Horror, Vol. 2 makes room for a variety of styles including the stonergarage rock of the Eagles of Death Metal, the soft indie rock of Wax on Radio, and even the electrodance of Asunder. For fans of the cable series or just those who like their rock with a bit of fake blood and creepy atmosphere, Masters of Horror, Vol. 2 is an enjoyably sanguine listen.
