Marca (newspaper)

MARCA is a Spanish nationwide daily sports newspaper. It was founded in 1938.
It focuses primarily on the teams from Madrid; i.e. Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. Recently the newspaper has started distributing regional editions.
Since 1984, Marca belongs to Recoletos group. It has about 403,000 readers making it the newspaper with the highest readership in Spain.
MARCA online Marca.com was created in 1995 and is the most visited sports website in Spain with 3,116,384 users a month.
MARCA on the radio Since February 2001 there has also been an associated 24-hour/day sports radio station, Radio Marca.

- Pichichi - To the highest league goalscorer.
- Zarra - To the highest Spanish league goalscorer.
- Zamora - To the best goalkeeper.
- Guruceta - To the best referee.
