Make It Easy On Yourself is a popular song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David.
Written in 1962 and originally intended for Dionne Warwick it was instead offered to Jerry Butler whose version was a #20 hit on the Billboard hot 100.
Three years later, The Walker Brothers took their version to #1 on the UK singles chart for a single week in September 1965 and to #16 in the US.
In 2001 it was sampled extensively by Irish band Ash on their 2001 single Candy.
