Majik Records was a short lived subsidiary of Psychopathic Records. Established in 2003, the company was founded by a partnership between Jamie Madrox, Monoxide, and former Psychopathic Records "warrior", Tom Dub. Each member held 33.3 % of the company and as friends they had no reason to doubt each other.
The label was very controversial. It had long been rumored that Twiztid was going to leave Psychopathic Records, and either sign with another label or begin their own record label.
Twiztid had become independent from the rest of Psychopathic Records. With their own producer, Fritz "The Cat", (The trio was known as Systerosis Sound Squad) they did most of their own production, and with their tour manager, Tom Dub, Twiztid had broken off from the rest of the artists on the label. All this created a tension between Psychopathic Records, especially ICP and Twiztid. It looked as though Twiztid was done with Psychopathic.
Twiztid began signing new talent and Majik was also going to be the home of a new group entitled, Samhein Witch Killaz. The Samhein Witch Killaz would seemingly be a resurrection of Twiztid's earlier group, The House of Krazees. It had been rumored that underground Horrorcore favorite Q-Strange would be signing to Majik Records.
On July 1, 2003 they released their 7th album The Green Book. Interestingly enough, both members removed their facepaint and possed with a Majik Records poster in the booklett. Click here to see the picture. Also, on the album, the word juggalo is never mentioned once. To further fuel the drama Twiztidshop.com opened up and began exclusively selling Twiztid merchandise, without the "hatchetman" logo. Many saw this as competition to Psychopathic's Hatchetgear online store. Twiztid also announced it's first ever "Fright Fest" also a competition to ICP's "Hallowicked" annual event.
Things escaladed at the 2003 Gathering of the Juggalos. Seminar information would be contradicted, juggalos divided between ICP or Twiztid, and as far as everyone was concerned Twiztid had already left the label. And, if there wasn't already enough drama, Tom Dub showed up with a Majik Records tattoo...on his head. The Gathering was also supposed to be Blaze Ya Dead Homie's last performance. Many saw this as a way for him to get out of his Psychopathic contract and sign with Majik. He began rapping for Twiztid a month later. [1]

In January 2004 ICP and Twiztid sat down and with that, all of the artists website were shut down. When they came back online it was announced that a new Dark Lotus album would be released and that Majik Records was dead. Tom Dub left (or was fired) the company. Rumors began circulating as to why Tom Dub left, one of which being that he spent months turning Twiztid and ICP against each other in order to get Twiztid to jump ship. When he left the company he refused to sell his share of the company to Twiztid. All three still own their respective shares.[2]
