Live Roulette TV is an interactive gaming show screened daily on Sky digital channel 847 from 6pm to 2am, on Information TV 2, Sky Digital channel 182, from 7pm to 10pm, and Information TV 1, Sky Digital channel 181 from 10pm to 2am daily. It is also shown on a 15 second delay between 10pm and 2am daily on the Information TV website.
Live Roulette TV first broadcast under the name Vegas 24/7 on 23 June 2005 on Sky Digital channel 274 and aired between 3pm and 11pm.
The show began as an experiment to see if a gaming show of that type would work on television and soon moved to a new time slot of 6:00pm to 2:00am in response to feedback from the players. On 25 September 2006 the show added an additional two hour extension from 2am to 4am, where the presenter based format was replaced by a focus on the wheel and the numbers being spun. However, in the middle of October 2006, the show reverted to its normal 8 hour format.
It broadcast on Sky digital channel 274 until 28 February 2006 when it moved EPG to channel 847, where it remains today. Part of the show also previously aired on The Wrestling Channel from midnight to 2am.
The busiest table in the history of Live Roulette TV occurred on Tuesday 1 August 2006 on a number spun by Rebecca Nasir, and the busiest night overall was Monday 28 August 2006 on a show presented by Rebecca Nasir and Olivia.
On Monday, 14 August 2006, Live Roulette TV launched a new website which made the show fully interactive, with players able to watch and play on-line. On Thursday 28 September 2006, on a show presented by Rebecca Nasir and Chris Ditchburn, a record number of players took part in the game using the on-line interface.

Live Roulette TV has a team of eight regular presenters/dealers, led by Chris Ditchburn (a fully licenced croupier with eight years experience of work in casinos ), Rebecca Nasir, and Chantel Shafie.

The game of roulette is exactly the same as found in a real casino. Live Roulette TV is the only gaming show in the world which uses a real casino wheel, and it uses the single zero European wheel rather than the American double zero version. Each game is open for three minutes and a new number is spun approximately every four minutes.

Chips are placed on the table by means of a telephone menu, which unlike many other quiz or gaming channels, is a national rate number charged at 10p from a BT landline.
Originally the betting options were limited to simple plays, such as straights, splits, corners and the outside chances. In response to player feedback, on 18 April 2006 a new menu system was launched which included columns and all the French bets, though not the red snake bet. It also allowed play on zero for the first time, when previously it had been the house number.

You can place a single chip to cover one, two or four numbers.
Straight play: Play on one number. Payout 35-1 Split play: Play on two adjacent numbers on the Number Board. Payout 17-1 Corner play: Play on four adjacent numbers on the Number Board. Payout 8-1

You can place a chip to cover an entire category of results. Even money plays (Odds 1-1):
Even: Any even valued number (2, 4, 6, etc.) excluding 0. Odd: Any odd valued number (1, 3, 5, etc.). Red: Any red number. Black Any black number. 1-18: Any number 18 or lower, excluding 0. 19-36: Any number 19 or greater.

A Neighbour Bet is a minimum 5 chip bet in the wheel covering two numbers either side of a single number.

A Tier Bet is a minimum 6 chip bet in the wheel covering the splits 5&8, 10&11, 13&16, 23&24, 27&30, and 33&36.

A Voisins de Zero Bet is a minimum 9 chip bet in the wheel. The bet is 2 chips on 0-2-3, 1 chip on splits 4&7, 12&15, 18&21, 19&22, two chips on a 25-26-28-29 corner and 1 chip on a 32&35 split.

An Orphelins Bet is a minimum 5 chip bet in the wheel. The bet is 1 chip on 1, 1 chip on 6&9 split, 1 chip on 14&17 split, 1 chip on 17&20 split and finally 1 chip on 31&34 split.

[edit] Premium Player Account
A premium player account allows you to take part in the game at any time and place chips, up to a certain house limit, just as you could in a real casino. At present, only players based in the United Kingdom are able to sign up for a premium account.

Live Roulette TV offers a fun free player option. When a new players registers under this option, they are given 500 free chips which can be used in exactly the same way as real chips. However, they have no monetary value and once exhausted cannot be replaced. The free play option is available from the Live Roulette website to players all over the world.

Live Roulette TV offers extra benefits for players who qualify for VIP membership. Each month the computer system indentifies the 120 most loyal players who become the VIP members for the next month.
This offers two benefits:-
1) Entry into the 'la partage draw'. This takes place twice each night, at 11pm and midnight. All the VIP members that are playing are put into a hat and a name is drawn out at random. The winner receives half their stake back for bets placed on the even chances every time the ball lands in green zero.
2) Entry in the monthly Grand Prize draw. At the end of each month all VIP members are entered into the draw, and two names are pulled out. The winners are given a weekend break for two at the Grange City Hotel in London, £100 spending money, and the chance to visit the studio.

After each spin, every winner from that game is displayed on screen, along with the amount of chips won, and the names are also read out by the presenter.
