- Lop II (a.k.a. B. Otsoa II, L. Lupus II, F. Loup II), was duke of Gascony around 770. The ancestors of Lop II are not known. It is often claimed that Lop II was related to dukes Odo of Aquitaine and Hunald of Aquitaine, some people even saying that Lop II was the son of Duke Odo of Aquitaine, but this is not true, as no medieval document telling us the family of Lop II has survived.
- Sans I Lop (a.k.a. B. Antso I Otsoa, S. Sancho I Lobo, F. Sanche I Loup) (son of previous), duke of Gascony (was already duke in 801, died ca. 812)
- Aznar I Sans (a.k.a. B. Aznar I Antso, S. Aznar I Sancho, F. Aznard I Sanche, and strangely also called Aznar I Galíndez in Spain) (son of previous), count of Vasconia Citerior (i.e. Gascony) (made count by King Pippin I of Aquitaine in 820-died in 836), founder of the county of Aragon (see his descendance at: List of Aragonese monarchs).
- Gassia of Comminges (a.k.a. S. and F. Garcia) (son of Aznar I Sans of Gascony), viscount of Comminges and Couserans (Oct. 833), count of Comminges (836-846). His brother seems to have been Galindo I Aznárez, count of Aragon.

- Lop I Aznar of Comminges (a.k.a. L. Lupus I Asnarius, F. Loup I Aznard) (son of previous), count of Comminges

- Bernard Roger (second son of Roger I of Carcassonne) (born ca. 962 - died ca. 1034), count of Couserans and part of Comminges, lord of Foix (ca. 1010-ca. 1034). His older brother Raimond I of Carcassonne (a.k.a Raimond I Roger), count of Carcassonne, inherited the county of Carcassonne, and was followed by his descendants, and later the Trencavel.
- Roger I (second son of previous), 1st count of Foix (1034-1067). His older brother Count Bernard of Bigorre inherited the county of Bigorre from their mother Countess Arsinde of Bigorre, wife of Bernard Roger of Foix.

- Gaston III Fébus or Phoebus (son of previous) (born 1331 - died August 1, 1391), 11th count of Foix, viscount of Béarn (1343-1391)
- Mathieu (son of Roger Bernard II, viscount of Castelbon, himself son of Roger Bernard I, viscount of Castelbon, himself younger brother of Gaston II of Foix-Béarn) (born ? - died August 1398), 12th count of Foix, viscount of Béarn (1391-1398), viscount of Castelbon (1381-1398)

- Jean I (son of Isabelle and Archambaud of Grailly) (born 1382 – died May 4, 1436), 14th count of Foix, viscount of Béarn and Villemur (1412–1436), count of Bigorre (1426–1436)
- Gaston IV (son of previous) (born November 27, 1422 – died July 25 or 28, 1472), 15th count of Foix, count of Bigorre, viscount of Béarn, Nébouzan, etc. (1436–1472)
- François Fébus (son of Gaston, prince of Viane, who died in the lifetime of his father, Gaston IV) (born 1466 or 1468 – died January 29 or 30, 1483), king of Navarre (1479–1483), 16th count of Foix, count of Bigorre, viscount of Béarn, etc. (1472–1483). Inherited Foix, Béarn, Bigorre, etc. in 1472 at the death of his grandfather Gaston IV. Inherited the kingdom of Navarre in 1479 at the death of his grandmother Eleanor of Navarre, wife of Gaston IV, and heiress of Navarre (see: List of Navarrese monarchs).
- Catherine (born 1469/1470 – died February 12, 1517) (sister of François Fébus), queen of Navarre, countess of Foix, countess of Bigorre, dame of Béarn, etc. (1483–1517), in 1484 married Jean d'Albret (died 1516), who became co-ruler of Navarre, Foix, Béarn, etc. (1484–1516). In 1512 Ferdinand II of Aragon conquered Navarre, and so the title of King of Navarre became an empty title.

- Henry II of Navarre (son of Catherine and Jean d'Albret) (born April 18 or 24, 1503 - died May 25, 1555), Henry I as count of Foix, king of Navarre, prince of Béarn, duke of Albret, 18th count of Foix, etc. (1517-1555). Briefly reconquered Navarre in 1521, then kept only Lower Navarre after 1521, along with all his other estates of Foix, Béarn, Bigorre, etc.
- Jeanne d'Albret (daughter of previous) (born January 7, 1528 – died June 9, 1572), queen of Navarre, princess of Béarn, duchess of Albret, countess of Foix, Bigorre, etc. (1555-1572), married Antoine de Bourbon (died 1562)

- Henry IV of France (son of Jeanne d'Albret and Antoine de Bourbon), Henry II as count of Foix, king of France (1589-1610), king of Navarre (1572-1610), duke of Bourbon, Vendôme, etc., 20th count of Foix, count of Bigorre, etc. (1572-1607).
- In 1607 the county of Foix was reunited to the French crown by Henry IV.
