The english version of Escape Attempt calls them "Leonidians", which is closer to the Russian than "Leoniders", and more etymologically appropriate in english given that the planet is called "Leonidia" (e.g. Persia - Persian, Asia - Asian, Cuba - Cuban, Russia - Russian). I assume that "Leoniders" was created by Koveras? If so, I think this should be renamed, and lots of references in other Noon articles should be changed.
Also, a question to anyone else who has read these in english (NERV, maybe?)- Do we know for sure that the different translators use the same translations of the various things in Noon? There are at least 3 different people who worked on the different books- I hope that they all standardized their usage, as we are trying to do. - Nope, I've had my doubts about this name too. :) It was listed in the main article before I registered, so I assumed whoever wrote it down knew what he did. :) Needless to say, I have nothing against your renaming proposal. --Koveras 13:52, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
