The Legislative districts of Leyte, namely the first, second, third, fourth and fifth districts are the representations of the Province of Leyte in the Philippine House of Representatives. Leyte was divided into four congressional districts from 1907 upto 1931, when it was redistricted to five congressional districts. With the creation of Southern Leyte as a separate province in 1959, Leyte was reduced back to four congressional districts in 1961. It became part of the representation of Region VIII from 1978 to 1984, and from 1984 to 1986 it elected 5 assemblymen at-large. In 1986, it was redistricted back to five congressional districts and until 1995, Biliran was part of its representation.
After the separation of Southern Leyte, which comprised all the towns in Leyte's third representative district, the Fourth, Fifth, First and Second Representative Districts became the First, Second, Third and Fourth Representative, respectively.
