From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A performance artist and drag Flamenco dancer in San Francisco, La Malinche interprets the feminine condition through Flamenco dance, embracing both male and female aspects of the self, or what indigenous culture regards as two-spirits.
La Malinche performs in festivals, events, restaurants, fundraisers, public and private organizations, and has also danced for political leaders, and arts & cultural commissioners of San Francisco. He is active in the performance art, experimental, and cabaret scenes of Northern California.
La Malinche has been studying and performing Flamenco for over five years. His Flamenco studies started in Houston, where studied under Rogelio Rodriguez. In Seattle, with Ana Montes and Rubina Carmona, he became a member of Flamenco Arts Northwest. In San Francisco, he has continued his studies under Yaelisa.
