KYYY or Y-93 is a radio station in Bismarck, North Dakota owned by Clear Channel Communications with an Adult Contemporary format. The music on Y93 is primarily current soft rock and pop hits along with pop hits from the past three decades. The station formerly had a Top 40/CHR format before current Top 40 station KKCT "Hot 97.5" switched from country music to top 40. Y93 saw a large slip in the ratings and was forced out of the Top 40 format by Hot 97-5.
The weekday line-up on Y-93 is; "Bob Brady in the Morning" from 5:30am-10a, Allison from 10a-2p, the "Big Kahuna" Todd Mitchell from 2p-7p, and Dolly Dakota from 7p-12a. Most of the current line-up has been on, or with Y-93 for the better part of 10 years.
Some of the programming on Y-93 is "Retro Saturday Night", a show hosted by Todd Mitchell that highlights a lot of 80's music. It airs Saturday nights from 6p-12a. The station also plays Jim Brickman's "Your Weekend" show and Casey Kasem's American Top 10 countdown.
Clear Channel also owns KFYR 550 (News/Talk), KXMR 710 (Sports), KBMR 1130 (Classic country), KQDY 94.5 (Country), and KSSS 101.5 (Classic Rock) in the Bismarck-Mandan area.
