Updated by the Press office of Prince Yi Seok, any comments post to POofYS Dated 04:05, 8 April 2005; updated again with more extensive entries by POofYS Dated 021:59, 9 April 2005.

This was in fact added by an anon IP address. Despite a number of pleas, the POofYS account is being used by a number of anons as a sort of dead-letter office. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:24, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Updated again with more extensive entries by POofYS Dated 00:45, 11 April 2005. Lists to be integrated within the text as a balance is made between size of entry, and other sub-entries as discovered. None of these entries are picked up by search engines yet so practically when they do this article will be neat and complete. Do not put me into Mercury each time an article begins. I don't know what the last comment means, but the important point is that if you want to be sure that an article isn't challenged, you should make sure that it's in a decent state when you first create it. Don't start it as a stub, or an empty framework, and then build it up. If you open an account, you can create the article in your user space, and then transfer it to the main article space when it's ready. Alternatively, you can create it on your own computer, and then add it when it's ready (I usually do the latter). Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:11, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Randomly looked in at the comments above and had a good laugh. Anyone who has lived in or attended Oxford, in any college, knows that Mercury is the statue in Tom Quad at Christ's Church, or the House as we tend to call it. Being put into Mercury is college slang for undesirables being thrown into the fountain by what we used to call hearties. Raffles 22:09, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
What a peculiar statement; anyone in Oxford knows Christ Church undergraduate slang? I've even been a lecturer at Christ Church, and I don't recall hearing it. And I haven't heard Ch.Ch. called the House for years — well, actually, never outside old novels. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:04, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Article is fairly complete, next edit involves balance

The article is getting fairly complete, and the divisions in art are such that the literature element will be reduced in size, and probably be spun off in the main to "Korean Literature". Focus will then be be put on a balance between traditional and modern, and post-modern art, with the emphasis on visual art being central. Again this looks like a generalized jump-off entry from which the more detailed entries can be accessed. POofYS Dated 01:59, 20 April 2005.

[edit] Audio for visually impaired, can we flag this on entries?

Does anyone know how we can hyperlink as early as possible on the wiki entry, a way that visually impaired people can get into audio lectures (as well as having this work read aloud by their usual highspeed software programs?). Some sort of acoustic signal on each entry that indicates audio content? Some audio flag?
We have found audio links - lectures - on Korean art on the Indiana University East Asian Studies Center page - that pull up on realplayer (but sometimes have streaming problems); and we'd like to see a way that visually impaired users can have audio flagged early so they can access this data if it is their preferred way to find more depth in their readings.
Ideally everyone has a chance to find what they want on the wiki fast - any ideas? POofYS Dated 10:45, 21 April 2005.

[edit] Image

Has anyone an image? It should be possible to get a PD picture (due to old age)… --Kokiri 8 July 2005 07:40 (UTC)

That's the best I could find. Anyone out there in Korea might get a better one… Kokiri 09:17, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
