Konrad von Erlichshausen (also known as Konrad VI von Erlichshausen) was the 30th Grand Master of the Teutonic Order between 1441 and 1449.
He came from Upper Germany and early in his career he was a close ally of Michael Küchmeister von Sternberg and later on he held positions of the Grand Komtur and the Grand Marshal.
Von Erlichshausen was in conflict with the Grand Master Paul Bellitzer von Russdorff which caused his demotion to a lesser position. He led the opposition in the Order which forced von Russdorf to resign as the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order.
After being chosen as the 30th Grand master in 1441, Konrad VI von Erlichshausen was trying to reform the Teutonic Order and get the Prussian states which at the time already formed the Prussian Confederation. He wanted to raise the ranking of the Order as after the Battle of Grunwald in 1410 it lost lots of importance, but his plans were never fully realized.
In 1443 he founded Orzysz on an area of 790,000 ha and on February 20th, 1444 while visiting Szestno he renewed the city rights of Sensburg. Later that year he founded Krausendorf.
Konrad von Erlichshausen died in Marienburg on November 7th, 1449 and was buried in a mausoleum under the Chapel of Saint Anna.
