Klein Independent School District

Klein Independent School District is a school district that serves unincorporated portions of northern Harris County, Texas (USA).
Klein ISD includes the communities of Klein, Kohrville, North Houston, Greenwood Forest, and Woods of Wimbledon. Some areas with Spring postal designations are also served by the district. Some areas outside of the Houston city limits considered to be in the "Acres Homes" area are served by KISD.
Klein ISD covers 81.5 square miles of land.
Klein ISD is part of the taxation base for North Harris Montgomery Community College District.
In 2005, KISD enrolled evacuees from the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina who were residing in northwest Harris County. The Spring Tabernacle shelter is within KISD boundaries.
