[edit] Suggested Merge
I suggest that this be merged with the other Old Kingdom characters. Other characters might include Sabriel, Lirael, Terciel, Touchstone, Sameth, Ellimere, Sanar and Ryelle, the Disreputable Dog, Mogget, Chlorr of the Mask, and Hedge. The names of the characters included in that comprehensive page would redirect to the correct area in the comprehensive page. Comments? Abhorsen327 13:34, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
Definitely should happen. 213.122.106.93 11:22, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Contradiction?
To be honest I don't recall the chronology, so I can suggest the resolution, but the first part of the article says the Abhorsen Terciel banished Kerrigor, and then the second section says that 'Many Abhorsens ... including Terciel' attempted to destroy him. But Terciel was one of the most recent Abhorsens. - Kvetch 23:39, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Terciel was one of the many Abhorsens who tried to destroy Kerrigor and failed (because Kerrigor's body was intact.) Since Kerrigor again could not be destroyed, Terciel used the next best solution: to banish him deep into Death. At the beginning of Sabriel Terciel mentions that he "chained [Kerrigor] beyond the [N]th Gate." If this ambiguity also exists in the text, it can be corrected. * We have the technology. We can rebuild it. Faster, smarter, clearer :) * Nihiltres 02:38, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Reworded some sentences, hope that's clearer :D -- Angela 22:39, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rogirek, not Rogirrek!
I'm posting this as a note, since this will have been the umpteenth time that someone has incorrectly changed the spelling of Rogirek, the right spelling of the original name of Kerrigor, to Rogirrek, a literal reversal of the word. In Sabriel, my version being a North American Harpertrophy paperback, Kerrigor's original name is spelt Rogirek - it appears that the extra "r" was addded in Kerrigor to make it slightly easier to pronounce than "Kerigor."
Please, please, do not change the spelling of Rogirek after I now change it back! Nihiltres 14:16, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
