Kenny is a 2006 mockumentary starring Shane Jacobson as Kenny, a Melbourne plumber who works for plumbing company Splashdown.

The film is shot entirely on location in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Sydney and Nashville, Tennessee in the United States of America.

In Australia, there has been high acclaim for the film receiving all round excellent reviews with an average of 4 - 4 and a half stars. Due to this, the number of screens which show the movie has been increased and there is currently discussion relating to the possibility of releasing the movie overseas.

Director Clayton Jacobson describes Kenny as "the Dalai-Lama of Waste Management, eternally optimistic and always ready to put others before himself. Kenny represents the humbling nature of common decency."

Kenny is a divorced, thirty-something portaloo toilet installer. He identifies himself as a plumber Dogged by his father and bourgeois brother to find a more professional career, Kenny is validated by his job and refuses to change his career to placate others. Kenny's life at first seems fairly routine. By and large, he’s a meat-and-three-veg, common as muck kind of guy that enjoys a beer and the odd fart joke.

Then, summer comes and 'every bastard starts having a festival'. Kenny's life is then routinely thrown into chaos. Offset by real Melbourne annual events such as The Melbourne Cup, Calder Park Street Drag Racing and the St Kilda Festival, Kenny demonstrates his star qualities. He manages to organize his toilet maintenance crew like a military sergeant, yet remains a good mate to all.

In the middle of summer, when Kenny thinks he's on top of his annual chaos, his boss asks him to attend an industry convention in Nashville Tennessee in his absence. For the first time, Kenny is forced out of his overalls and into a business class flight seat. His discomfort is self evident, but by both breaking and fixing the plane toilet, he befriends an air hostess.

Kenny fumbles his way through the trade expo and unfamiliar corporate world. He inadvertently schmoozes a deal to sell his companies 'corporate bathroom' to a Japanese firm, after a befriending a Japanese executive 'the Sushi cowboy'.

Upon his return to Australia, Kenny's faced with both career and family dilemmas. His boss offers him a managerial job which would involve hanging up his overalls for a suit. Even though this would placate his father, ex wife and boss, Kenny decides that this role validates who he is, and he decides to stick to the camaraderie of his mates and concentrate on his personal life.
