KCNN is a news and talk radio station based in Grand Forks, North Dakota broadcasting on 1590 AM. The station used the call sign KRAD until 1985. It's owned by Leighton Broadcasting, which also owns KNOX-AM. KNOX is also a news/talk radio station with focuses on local and regional events, while KCNN focuses on national events with syndicated talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Michael Savage. ESPN Radio is heard during the overnights on KCNN. The station occasionally broadcasts local high school athletic events. The station currently airs CNN Radio content, and had used the CNN logo as part of the KCNN logo.
Leighton Broadcasting also owns KNOX-AM 1310 (News/Talk), KNOX-FM 94.7 (Classic country), KYCK 97.1 (Country), and KZLT 104.3 (Hot AC) in Grand Forks.
